Inauguration of the Calais - Tilbury maritime line: an historic moment for the Port Boulogne Calais

23rd of September 2019 was an historic moment for the Port Boulogne Calais, with the inauguration of the new Calais - Tilbury maritime line, which was announced a couple of weeks ago.
Port Boulogne Calais CEO Jean-Marc Puissesseau invited Natacha Bouchart (Mayor of Calais / Vice-President of the Hauts-de-France Region), Stijn Gheyle (Director of P&O Ferries Director of Freight Services), Carole Cran (representing Forth Ports Limited – Port of Tilbury London), Thierry Le Guilloux (President of VIIA) and Fabien Sudry (Prefect of Pas-de-Calais) to join him in order to cut together the symbolic ribbon.

Mr Puissesseau said that he was "very proud of the opening of this line."
Mr Puissesseau then thanked his special guests for being here on such a special day by offering them a gift.
