Two new-generation super-ferries will sail on the Calais Dover line

P & O Ferries has just announced the signature of a 260 million euros contract with Guangzhou Shipyard International Ltd for the deliver of two new 230 metersuper-ferries and has taken an option for the construction of two other ships.
These two ships, the largest ever built to sail on the Calais / Dover line will be operational by 2023. Designed in compliance with environmental standards and sustainable development, they will be the first of their kind ever built to sail on the English Channel and will thus offer first class transport capacity for the coming years according to P & O ferries.
