Official Launch of the Boulogne-sur-Mer–Cork (Ireland) Ferry Service

Friday, June 12, 2026, marks a milestone for the Port of Boulogne-sur-Mer and opens a new chapter in its maritime history with the inaugural crossing from Boulogne-sur-Mer to Cork in southwestern Ireland, operated by Hibernia Line.

After nearly five years of close collaboration with the project sponsor, we are very proud and happy to see this new maritime route become a reality today.

The first vehicles were loaded late Friday afternoon for a 10:00 p.m. departure.

The following day, the first vehicles from Cork arrived at the port of Boulogne-sur-Mer.
