Boulogne-sur-Mer: heading to Singapore and the ASEAN region

Opening up new horizons for Boulogne’s industries: heading to Singapore and the ASEAN region.

Ahead of the business meetings which begin today, yesterday’s first day in Singapore was devoted to institutional discussions alongside the Port of Dunkirk.

On the agenda: a presentation at the Franco-Singaporean Chamber of Commerce (FCCS), followed by meetings with the French Embassy in Singapore and the Regional Economic Service to discuss development prospects for the fisheries and agri-food sectors in South-East Asia.

For the Port of Boulogne-Calais, the aim of this mission is to highlight the strengths of the Boulogne ecosystem, to gain a better understanding of the opportunities offered by the ASEAN markets, and to forge new contacts likely to foster the development of commercial partnerships between our sectors and this strategic region.
