what should the driver do?
At the port of Calais, in order to board, the driver must present to the shipping company’s check-in he usual goods documents (CMR, UN code ...) and customs references from French customs (MRN or TAD, or TIR / ATA ) and British Customs (GMR).
In the event of transport under TIR / ATA, the driver must have his logbook stamped by French Customs (at the port, follow the signs) before boarding.
