Mooring consists of operations for assistance with mooring ships and removing their moorings when arriving or departing, and also during their movement (change of berths) in ports.

Mooring operations are performed by Boulogne Calais Port.

The careening and ship repair areas of the Boulogne-sur-Mer facility are under the responsibility of the concession owner and operator (SEPD).

Equipment at your disposal:

• 3 draining units for vessel grounding/floating out:

1 lifting sling of 35T maximum capacity

1 lifting sling of 350T maximum capacity

1 slipway (formed of 2 slides) of 1100T maximum capacity

• 2 careening areas equipped with a system for recovery of polluted effluents, intended for ship maintenance and servicing operations (sanding, painting)
• 1 wintering area for prolonged storage on cradles.

Services at your disposal:

· Removing ships from the water and/or launching in accordance with dimensional criteria (length, width, weight);

· Ship transfer to the careening area;

· Ship blocking with equipment adapted to the ship's characteristics (bilge blocks, cradles, etc.);

· Accessory services: hire of launching cradles, supply and installation of a gangway or stepladder for ship access, supply of electric power and fresh water, handling by mobile crane or lift truck (in accordance with list prices).
