ETA mandatory from February 25, 2026

ETA: Calais-Dover travelers, make sure you comply with the new UK border formalities!

Since April 2, 2025, travelers to the UK who are not British nationals and do not have a visa or permanent or temporary resident status in the UK must apply for an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA). After a grace period of several months, the ETA will become mandatory from February 25, 2026, for all travelers, including children and infants.
