specialised cranes and machinery\" width=\"1024\" height=\"534\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.portboulognecalais.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/general_cargo_04-1024x534.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.portboulognecalais.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/general_cargo_04-300x156.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.portboulognecalais.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/general_cargo_04-768x400.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.portboulognecalais.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/general_cargo_04-1536x800.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/www.portboulognecalais.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/general_cargo_04-2048x1067.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>The commercial terminals in Boulogne-sur-Mer and Calais have the infrastructure, equipment and crane operators needed to handle small bulk cargoes.<\/strong><br \/>\nThe sites depend on the nature of the goods, the customer and operational criteria (size of the ship, etc.).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Calais offers the following facilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The deep-water quay at the Henri Ravisse basin, accessible to Panamax vessels.<\/li>\n<li>The Carnot basin, a flood basin located behind the Carnot lock, is designed to accommodate bulk carriers of limited size (21-metre lock).<\/li>\n<li>Paul Devot Quay<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Boulogne-sur-Mer offers the following facilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Quai de l&#8217;Europe and the adjacent medians, which may be subject to Temporary Occupancy Permits (AOT).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n<section class=\"content-picture\" id=\"agri-food-terminal\">\n\t<div class=\"content-picture__container\">\n\t\t<div class=\"content-picture__content wysiwyg\">\n\t\t\t<h2 class=\"content-picture__title\">Agri-food terminal<\/h2>\n\t\t\t<div class=\"content-picture__text\">\n\t\t\t\t<p>Boulogne-sur-Mer is a Designated Point of Entry (DPE).<br \/>The Boulogne terminal handles various co-products (beet pulp, alfalfa pulp, oilseed meal) for import and export.<br \/>It has a flat silo with a capacity of 8,000 tonnes at the quayside, enabling it to handle agri-food traffic.<\/p>\n\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"content-picture__image\">\n\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.portboulognecalais.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/terminal-agro-alimentaire.jpg\" alt=\"Terminal agro-alimentaire port Calais Boulogne-sur-mer\">\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/section>\n\n\n<section class=\"content-picture\" id=\"new-car-terminal\">\n\t<div class=\"content-picture__container\">\n\t\t<div class=\"content-picture__content wysiwyg\">\n\t\t\t<h2 class=\"content-picture__title\">New car terminal<\/h2>\n\t\t\t<div class=\"content-picture__text\">\n\t\t\t\t<h4>The port of Calais has maritime and rail transhipment infrastructure for new cars.<\/h4>\n<p>The storage sidings are connected to the railway network and have a combined terminal for train handling.<\/p>\n<p>The terminal also has two RoRo gates, a deep-water quay and excellent road connections (A16\/A26) for high-quality intermodal logistics.<\/p>\n<p>The car terminal at the port of Calais is operated by the Charles Andr\u00e9 Group (GCA).<\/p>\n\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"content-picture__image\">\n\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.portboulognecalais.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/general-cargo_voiturier.jpg\" alt=\"Terminal voitures neuves -
