The Universit\u00e9 du Littoral C\u00f4te d\u2019Opale has a research centre dedicated to the environment, coastal and marine environments<\/strong>, and an institute specific to our geography, the Institute of Marine and Coastal Sciences.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Research on this topic addresses major issues: the marine environment, coastal systems and biodiversity (including marine ecology, physical oceanography, marine geology, biogeochemistry and coastal dynamics), fisheries, aquaculture and their exploitation (including the safety of food from marine sources).<\/p>\n
