{"id":8305,"date":"2025-10-13T14:41:37","date_gmt":"2025-10-13T12:41:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.portboulognecalais.fr\/visitor-operator-access\/"},"modified":"2026-09-04T17:16:12","modified_gmt":"2026-09-04T15:16:12","slug":"visitor-operator-access","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.portboulognecalais.fr\/en\/visitor-operator-access\/","title":{"rendered":"Visitor &amp; operator access"},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote><p>The security of the Port of Boulogne Calais port facilities is governed by the ISPS (International Ship and Port Facility Security) code.<\/p>\n<p>Access is regulated and requires prior authorization.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2>PROCEDURE FOR ACCESSING THE PORT OF CALAIS<\/h2>\n<p>The regulations governing the issue of access passes have been amended following the publication of Decree No. 2026-524 of 18 June 2026 and the publication of the two Orders of 29 June 2026 and 8 July 2026, relating to port security and security checks.<\/p>\n<p>Since 1 July 2026, three types of personal access passes may be issued:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>VISITOR:<\/strong> occasional visit of 24 hours; 72-hour notice period for submitting the application<\/li>\n<li><strong>TEMPORARY:<\/strong> valid for between 8 and 90 days over a rolling year; 10-day notice period for submitting the application<\/li>\n<li><strong>PERMANENT:<\/strong> valid for more than 3 months and up to 5 years; 10-day notice period required to submit the application<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Vehicle access pass:<\/strong> a vehicle access pass is required to access IP1101 and 1103 + a copy of the vehicle registration document.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>From now, a single standard application form:<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"btn btn--primary\" href=\"https:\/\/www.portboulognecalais.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/port_of_calais_access_authorisation_application_2026-1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Application for access to the port of Calais <i class=\"fas fa-file-arrow-down\"><\/i><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Submission of the application form for a travel document:<\/strong><br \/>\n<a href=\"mailto:accueil.formalites.calais@portboulognecalais.fr\">accueil.formalites.calais@portboulognecalais.fr<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Withdrawal of vehicle registration<\/strong>: Home Formalities \u2013 Port of Calais (former ferry terminal)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Contact :<\/strong> +33 (0)3 21 46 29 26<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>IN CASE OF LOSS OR THEFT OF THE VEHICLE REGISTRATION DOCUMENT<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Loss<\/strong> or <strong>theft<\/strong> of the vehicle registration document <strong>must be reported immediately to Reception <\/strong><strong>Formalities at:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>+33 (0)3 21 46 29 26<\/p>\n<p>In addition, a loss report must be completed using the designated form and sent to:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"mailto:accueil.formalites.calais@portboulognecalais.fr\">accueil.formalites.calais@portboulognecalais.fr<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a class=\"btn btn--primary\" href=\"https:\/\/www.portboulognecalais.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/declaration-perte-vol-du-titre-de-circulation-port-de-calais.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Reporting the loss or theft of a vehicle registration document <i class=\"fas fa-file-arrow-down\"><\/i><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>PROCEDURE FOR ACCESSING THE PORT OF BOULOGNE-SUR-MER<\/h2>\n<p><strong>A port facility<\/strong> is subject to access control and<strong> security measures<\/strong>.
