Governance

In 2015, the Hauts-de-France Regional Council, owner of the ports of Boulogne-sur-Mer and Calais, entrusted the concessionaire, Société d’Exploitation des Ports du Détroit (SEPD), with the management, operation, maintenance and development of the infrastructure and superstructure of the single port PORT BOULOGNE CALAIS.

The concession agreement was signed for a period of 50 years.

SEPD is a public limited company with a majority public shareholding:

76.8%: Hauts-de-France Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry, 11%: MERIDIAM, 11%: Banque des Territoires, 2.2%: Employees of Port Boulogne Calais via a company mutual fund (FCPE).
