Passenger services

The Port of Calais offers services before and after boarding checks.

  • Before recording:

The ferry terminal, at the entrance to the port, is recognisable by its ochre cladding, designed as a tribute to the famous Calais lace. It offers a range of services for your comfort:

Un self-service « Le Bistrot du port » est situé dans l’ancien terminal à quelques minutes du terminal ferry) – Service uniquement le midi.

For hikers, the port of Calais is the first point of entry into France on the famous Via Francigena pilgrimage route linking Canterbury to Rome. The route is signposted from the ferry terminal.

It is also marked on the GR 120 Manche/North Sea coastal hiking trail, known as the “Sentiers du Littoral” (Coastal Paths), which links the Opal Coast to the Baie de Somme estuary and beyond to Normandy.

  • After check-in and border controls:

At the Channel Tunnel terminal, take advantage of the many services available in the Calais building – home to the Duty Free Store and Calais Coffee Shop – as well as at our various service points.
